We are one consulting firm but we have to career paths: Analytics and Business. No matter which practice a consultant belongs, our fellows have the vocation to be, as Leonardo da Vinci was, true “Renaissance Men”. Being a consultant in Altair requires a never-ending passion and self-exigency to develop knowledge in both Analytics and Business Practices.
Our long term vision wants to perpetuate Altair in order to leave the firm in the hands of our next generation of partners who are forging their career within our company.
The groundwork of our appraisal system is the set of values that have been the same since the foundation of the firm back on 2002. Empowering is the best way to have the best performance of our team who are continuously appraised and coached to always grow as professionals.
At Altair, we have Analytics Consultants & Business Consultants who developed their careers following same tracking appraisal framework which is based on our values as a firm. For each category we ask both careers for the same key accomplishments. Therefore, to be ready for the Partnership level an individual should master all 12 performance dimensions.
We have a demanding selection process that challenges candidates in terms of skills (analytics or business depending to where they are applying for), attitudes (passion and motivation) and maturity (resilience and flexibility).
The selection process is organized in different rounds of interviews although we combine the evaluation strategies depending on the alignment with business needs. The assessors involved includes from HR processor to the business line that ensure the objectivity of the selection process.
